gABRIEL nEUMANN

Gabriel Neumann is an actor and theater-maker originally from the south of Brazil and based in New York City. He is a member of both the Actor’s Equity Association and the Brazilian Actor's Union. Neumann has performed in numerous theater and film productions in both the United States and Brazil, including the first musical theater adaptation of ‘Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding. He obtained an Associate Degree in Acting for Film, Theater and Television from the Wolf Maya Acting Studio and has also completed several courses and workshops with artists from all over the world, including a year at SESI Experimental Theater, a conservatory in Sao Paulo that explored the Viewpoints and Suzuki Theater techniques.

Gabriel is committed to continuous learning and growth in his craft and has sought out various opportunities to further his education. In 2018, he moved to New York City to participate in the Stella Adler Studio's Acting Conservatory, after which he was offered the lead role in the world premiere of ‘And the Trees Fall Down’, a play by Viviana Prado-Nunes. 

Neumann is an alumnus of Fiasco Theater's Inaugural Conservatory and has collaborated in several productions and workshops of the award-winning company.

Recent theater credits include 'Crumbs of Joy', by Italian playwright Giorgia Brusco, 'when superheores die and how we mourn them...' by Luis Roberto Herrera, 'Rough Trade', a play written by Kev Berry and directed by Alex Tobey, ‘Clouds’ by Liz Peterson, the ‘The Last Blueberry on Earth’ by Gage Tarlton  and ‘Imogen Says Nothing’ by Aditi Brennan Kapil, directed by Jessie Austrian/Fiasco.
